AJS Responds to Selection Reform Proposals in Missouri

Summary

The Missouri House of Representatives is currently considering a proposal (HCS HJR 49) that would alter the Missouri Plan for judicial selection.

In light of its role in developing the first models for merit-based judicial selection more than 80 years ago, AJS has prepared an analysis of the proposed legislation based on AJS’ Model Judicial Selection Provisions.
