Censure for “working part-time while being paid a full-time salary”
Accepting a stipulation for discipline by consent, the California Commission on Judicial Performance has publicly censured a judge for routinely leaving the courthouse for the day before noon without receiving authorization and without notifying his supervising judges. The judge also agreed to tender his irrevocable resignation in writing to be effective October 2, 2009, to take an approved leave beginning May 12, and not to serve in judicial office in California.
