questions regarding AJS materials.
|
May I reprint or photocopy for distribution material published by AJS?
In most cases, yes. It is necessary to obtain permission by completing the form
on our Web site or contacting the publications director at drichert@ajs.org.
Please indicate who you represent, specifically what you want to reprint (and
whether you want to reprint in full or an excerpt), how the reprint will be used
(name of publication, conference, etc.) audience, and how many copies. If it is
to be used for commercial purposes a fee may be charged. Note, as stated on the
contents page of Judicature, that up to 25 copies of an individual article may
be made for educational purposes without permission.
Is AJS material available online?
Most items are only available for purchase through the AJS Store, although those
for which there is no charge are available online in PDF format. Judicature and
the Judicial Conduct Reporter are both available on Westlaw. In some cases a PDF
of a Judicature article can be sent. Photocopies of individual articles may be
obtained for a nominal charge.
Can I research Judicature and the Judicial Conduct Reporter online?
Indices for both are available on our Web site (go to Publications and
Resources, click on Judicature or Judicial Conduct Reporter under
AJS Periodicals). In addition, Judicature is indexed in Index to Legal
Periodicals, Current Law Index, Legal Resource Index, Criminal Justice
Periodical Index, and PAIS Bulletin.
I'm interested in submitting an article to Judicature, how do I do it?
Guidelines are available on our Web site (go to Publications and Resources and
click on Judicature under AJS Periodicals).
I have a book I want to publish, can I send it to AJS for consideration?
AJS normally only publishes books that result from a project or study conducted
by the Society.
