Beginning October 1, 2008, every member of the American Judicature Society who recruits a new member or purchases a gift membership at the $100 level will be entered in a drawing for one (1) $1,000 travel package!

Through the “Every Member Get a Member Campaign!” we are inviting current members to help AJS spread the word about the many professional, academic, and justice system resources available through the American Judicature Society.

Is there someone you know – a friend, colleague, or law student – who would benefit from an AJS membership?

Every new member you recruit or gift with membership during the promotional period will also have their name entered into the travel package drawing. The more members you recruit, and the higher the level of membership, the more chances you have to win! For every $250 or higher membership recruited or gifted, your name and the name of the new member will be entered twice.

An expanding membership base helps support the work of AJS financially, and strengthens membership networking opportunities to promote judicial independence and accountability and the highest standards of judicial ethics at the local, regional, and national levels.

• This special AJS membership promotion will expire December 31, 2008. All promotional membership applications postmarked or received electronically by December 31, 2008, will be eligible to be entered into the drawing.
• Payment must accompany new membership applications, whether recruited or gifted, to be eligible for the drawing. Only new memberships at the $100 level, or higher, qualify for the drawing.
• The winner will be notified on January 15, 2009.
• The travel package certificate can be applied to a combination of air travel, hotel, and/or car rental purchases made in the continental United States on or before December 15, 2009. The combined total value of travel package purchases may not exceed $1,000.
• "New Member" includes anyone who has not been a dues-paying member of AJS since December 31, 2006.
• Members of the AJS Board of Directors, Honorary Board of Directors, National Advisory Council, and staff are not eligible for the drawing.
