Judges and Social Media

There have always been friendships between judges and lawyers, but the redefinition of “friend” as a verb in social media has brought new attention to the ethical implications of those relationships.  This program will focus on the advice ethics committees have given judges to ensure that their use of new technologies does not come into conflict with traditional principals of judicial impartiality, integrity, and independence.
