Law Firm Benefactor Program

Summary

Prominent law firms from across the nation are recognized as AJS Benefactor firms.  Benefactors support the award winning AJS periodical Judicature as well as the continuing efforts of AJS to maintain the integrity and independence of the judiciary.

What Benefactor Firms Receive

Benefactor firms receive
(1) prominent recognition on the inside cover page of Judicature, the premier AJS scholarly journal distributed bi-monthly to nearly 6.000 constituents worldwide, and
(2) up to 25 copies of each issue.

Where Benefactor Firms Are Recognized

Judicature, the journal of the American Judicature Society, has a tradition of support from law firms nationwide to ensure its continued excellence. Published continuously since 1917 by AJS, Judicature is a bi-monthly forum for analysis and comment on current issues being shaped in and by our justice system. Attracting authors from the bar, bench, classroom, newsroom, and other fields, Judicature is a prime source of information for lawyers, judges, lawmakers, business leaders, and academics. Peer-reviewed Judicature has been found to be among the most frequently cited publications in court opinions and legal research--a testimonial to its high quality and wide distribution.

Benefactor firms will also be recognized in the AJS Annual Report, on the AJS website and periodically through the monthly E-newsletter, Judicatories.

Benefactor Firm Sponsorships Tiers

The Benefactor program offers sponsorships beginning at $1,500 annually, with additional recognition at $2,500 and $5,000+ sponsorship tiers beginning in September 2007. By becoming a Judicature Benefactor your firm can join other active and respected participants in the nation's legal system by supporting the critical dialogue on the administration of justice that Judicature encourages.
