AJS Midyear Meeting Program, co-sponsored with the ABA

At its Midyear Meeting in Los Angeles in early February, AJS co-sponsored a program with the ABA Judicial Division’s National Conference of Federal Trial Judges entitled Stranger In A Strange Land: Cross-Cultural Issues in the Courts.” The program focused on the many ways in which, in a nation of immigrants, customs and other cultural issues are increasingly finding their way into the U.S. justice system. Featuring a panel of national experts, the program highlighted issues that judges and lawyers need to be aware of and understand in order to improve the administration of justice for all. This clip provides an overview of this fascinating and thought-provoking program.
