Explores the specific cognitive functions involved in the task of judging,
as well as the effect of both "normal" and "abnormal" age-related changes. |

An Afternoon with Clarence
Darrow
Gary Anderson, who is nationally lauded and renown, will portray
Clarence Darrow with an emphasis on the interaction between Darrow and the
judges in four of his cases. The four Darrow cases that will be
presented are Leopold and Loeb - Judge John Caverly; Big Bill
Haywood Murder Trial - Judge Fremont; The Sweet Murder Trials -
Judge Frank Murphy; and Scopes "Monkey" Trial - Judge John Raulston.
Special guest Judith Besser, the great granddaughter of Clarence Darrow,
will read authentic letters written by Darrow. |

The Trials of Darryl
Hunt
An inspirational program on the trials of Darryl Hunt; a young man who spent
19 years in jail for a crime he did not commit. Mr. Hunt and his
lawyer will share their personal prospective on his case and trials, and the
impact the legal system has had on their lives, Mr. Hunt's in particular.
Thereafter, we will have a panel of judges and lawyers discussing what we
can do to minimize and/or avoid such travesties in the future.
Speakers include Darryl Hunt and Mark Rabil, attorney. |
